Single Professional Women’s Therapy Group

This therapy group is for single professional women in their 30's and 40's who are dealing with the challenges of balancing career and personal goals. The group addresses moving forward in a positive direction with regard to dating, relationships, and possible desires for partnership/marriage and family. Self-care, building a support network and achieving personal success and happiness is emphasized in each group meeting.

The group addresses issues such as:
• Assertive communication (getting your needs met in relationships)
• Self-awareness (identifying patterns in relationships)
• Behaving proactively (taking steps towards the life you want)
• Urban dating trends (pros/cons of internet dating)
• Shifts in relationships when friends marry/partner
• Family of origin influence on dating

Location: 180 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois in the 18th floor Conference Room
Fee: The cost is $50 per session for six sessions. Insurance may cover a portion of the cost.

Lori

Lori Hall, LCSW

The group will be facilitated by Lori Hall who completed her Bachelor of Arts at DePaul University and earned her Masters of Social Work at Loyola University. Lori has extensive experience in providing psychotherapy to individuals and couples and has led a variety of therapy groups. She has been in private practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2001 and is co-founder of Urban Balance, LLC.
