Clothes, shoes, new gadgets — all kinds of material goods can make us feel good about ourselves, at least temporarily. So it’s natural that shopping is pleasurable for many people. But there’s a difference between enjoying the occasional shopping trip and being a “shopaholic,” or having a shopping addiction.
