Many people do not realize that they might also have some free counseling sessions available to them through their EAP (Employee Assistance Program.) These sessions can be used at the start of treatment for assessment, brief counseling, and referral services. They are free to the client and are paid for by their employer as part of their benefit package. EAP services are confidential---your employer will not know that you accessed this benefit.
