"On May 18, the Alumni Association of The Family Institute hosted a first-time event called The Inside Track. The event, exclusive to FI alumni, welcomed special guest speaker Joyce Marter, LCPC (Class of 1996). Joyce is co-owner of Urban Balance, LLC and was selected for the "40 under 40" Crain's Chicago Business List of 2010. Joyce is a successful businesswoman, mother, wife and clinician who is able to balance these roles in a healthy and positive way. She lead a lively discussion about creating a successful professional vision (or private practice) that simultaneously promotes personal well-being and a healthy work/life balance." |
