UB Co-Founder Receives Award

Joyce Marter, Co-Founder of Urban Balance, was awarded Alumni of the Year by the Masters of Counseling Psychology Program at The Family Institute of Northwestern University in November, 2008.  Joyce was recognized for her contributions to the masters program, including serving as a clinical supervisor to therapists-in-training, speaking about her professional path at the annual Careers Nights, serving as a mentor to students and graduates, and for Co-Founding Urban Balance; a lead employer of graduates of the program.
