UB's Joyce Marter was grateful to have been invited to meet with the guidance counseling staff of Notre Dame College Prep High School in Niles, Illinois.  Joyce discussed UB's scope of services and how the practice can be a resource for students and families at the school, by providing individual, couples and family counseling.  Joyce explained how UB is an insurance-friendly practice with 5 locations and over 40 therapists in Chicagoland.  Adjunct services provided at UB were also introduced, such as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, art therapy, anger management counseling and mediation services.  It was explained that UB therapists specialize in a wide array of presenting issues related to mental health, addiction, career/academics, parenting, child/adolescent development, marriage and family, etc.  UB offered to provide in-services to staff on a variety of issues, as UB therapists have done for many diverse local schools and organizations.
