Last week, UB's Joyce Marter was invited to attend a 3-hour presentation about Mental Health Law in Illinois given by attorney, Jonathan Nye of Nye & Associates.  The presentation was hosted by Cornerstone Counseling in Chicago and reviewed the current laws for ensuring all client rights including issues around confidentiality, record keeping and professional competency.  UB is dedicated to providing clinical excellence to the clients who receive individual, couples and family counseling at the five locations throughout Chicago and the North Shore.
