UB is proud to welcome Martina Cortez to its Libertyville and Evanston counseling offices. An experienced and highly regarded clinician, Martina is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with adults, children, adolescents, and families.
Martina uses a client-focused and recovery oriented approach, which allows individuals to guide the therapeutic process by creating personalized goals. The work Martina has done with addiction issues has given her rich experience with the 12-step philosophy. Martina has ten years of experience in community mental health, where she focused on the impact that the external environment can have on mental health issues. In addition to providing therapy in UB's Evanston and Libertyville offices, she looks forward to helping UB create a comprehensive health and wellness resource on the North Shore and northwest suburbs.
