Ron Pajak, LSW

Urban Balance is very proud to welcome Ron Pajak, LSW to our clinical team.  UB recognizes that some clients prefer to work with a male therapist, especially in cases such as:
  • Men who would like to work with a male therapist with whom they can more closely identify and relate to regarding men's issues in identity, career, relationship issues, etc. 
  • Women who would like to gain the male perspective on their communication or relationship issues with men.  
  • Male/female couples who would prefer to work with a male therapist for the comfort of the male partner

Ron Pajak's Bio:

Ron Pajak is a Licensed Social Worker. He specializes in clinical work with trauma, depression and anxiety. Areas of particular interest are men’s issues; navigating life changes; grief and loss. He has experience with diverse populations regarding age, ethnicity, gender, orientation and socio-economic status. He has worked with individuals, couples and groups, and has experience providing counseling to LGBT populations concerning issues of self-esteem and family dynamics. Ron is very interested in the use of personal narrative as a method of self-exploration and a means to identify patterns of behavior. He uses an integrative therapeutic approach, with a strong foundation in psychodynamic theory and family systems. Ron received his social work degree from the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago.
