UB Owner, Joyce Marter, was invited to return to The Family Institute at Northwestern University to lecture today for the students of the Masters of Counseling Psychology Program. Joyce discussed the assessment and treatment of Bipolar Disorder, a mood disorder which affects about 4.4% of the population. Joyce provided clinical assessment tools, case examples and resources for the students during the 3-hour presentation. It is part of UB's mission to provide clinical training and mentoring to therapists-in-training as a way of giving back to the field of mental health.
