Urban Balance Therapist Offers Therapy Group for Women Survivors of Childhood Abuse

Chicago office group counseling notice:

Begins Saturday January, 9th, from 10 to 11:45 AM, and runs for 8 weeks.

25 East Washington St. Suite 1908, Chicago

This group will provide a safe place for women to understand how their past trauma impacts their relationships and sense of self. Group therapy is a good addition to individual therapy because it helps to create a sense of community and provides an opportunity for healing and validation. There will be some emphasis on building new skills, boundaries (setting limits) and creating safe, healthy relationships.

If you are interested, please contact Suzanne McClure, LCSW at Urban Balance at 312-726-7170. Eligible participants must be in individual treatment during the group. Fees will be arranged on a sliding scale.
