Laura Gerber, LCPC and PhD, uses a cognitive behavioral approach to treating long standing personality disorders as well as other more acute disorders. With six years of experience in community mental health and crisis work Laura is able to quickly assess situations and help individuals make immediate plans to get through the day while more structured treatment goals are established. There are now 8 therapists practicing at UB's Libertyville location. This provides us with the ability to provide comprehensive counseling services and specialties.
