Therapy Groups: Urban Balance offers a variety of psychotherapy and wellness groups. These groups address shared issues in a supportive and collaborative manner that is normalizing, validating and empowering. UB therapists facilitate an environment that is supportive, respectful and confidential. Participating simultaneously in individual therapy and groups often expedites growth and progress. Workshops:The workshops offered by UB address current topics and areas of interest and concern in a format that is informative and thought provoking. These workshops can be a wonderful adjunct to your wellness program that can help you increase awareness and develop new skills.

Urban Balance provides presentations on a variety of issues related to psychology and wellness. UB has therapists who are trained and experienced in creating and facilitating seminars and in-services. Our therapists are contracted with a variety of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) to provide workplace wellness seminars, lunch-and-learn events, and other trainings and presentations to client companies. Urban Balance provides CISD's for schools, workplaces and organizations following a critical incident or trauma such as an injury, accident, death or robbery. Our therapists are contracted with a variety of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) to provide CISD's for their client companies. CISD's help those impacted by the incident process their thoughts and feelings, manage the normal effects of trauma, and get connected with resources for ongoing support.
